I have a sleigh bed - 64" wide (headboard) and the length is 93". The bed is just too long for the room and I was wondering if there was a possibility that we could cut the side panels and the slats where the mattress is places by a few inches, I know if the bed was that bit smaller in length it would look great in the bedroom but right now it's just too big & awkward looking.
