I have the exact same problem !
KitchenAid KUD1220T. ~12 years old. Leaks through the motor shaft. Must be a bad seal. But changing it means taking the whole dishwasher out. Seems like a pain to get to.
No manual.
Discovered the leak after the hardwood floors were warped. Water got under the the first two rows of boards.
