water sculpture

Can anyone tell me where I can find instructions on making my own water sculptor? I'd like to do one that is rather large (about 18 inches by 48 inches) & I'm thinking a framed sheet of copper that I could make ridges & designs on might be nice. But a different medium may also work. For example, I've thought about trying to do a cast in concrete or something & then paint it clay colored or copper colored. Any words of wisdom, suggestions, or potential links out there?
