if it is a General Electric the door cam is easy just take hinge off and replac. if by strip u mean gasket just loosen 1/4" screws underneath and reseat untorn gasket. if torn cut plastic section ( but not magnet) out and get a piece from a used appliance store. just slide plastice piece in with magnet and tighten screws
