correct the first time,see my innovation in woodworkers journal, look under shop tips in mar apl issue 1997, with this mitre box which you can use with either a power mitre saw or a hand saw the moulding will sit in this box identical as it is in condunction with the ceiling and wall,in other words the front edge of the moulding at the ceiling will lay against the front of the mitre box,or with the back of the moulding facing the power mitre saw blade
