Hampton Bay fan light flickers

I moved to a home with hampton bay fan installed. It has a light and has a remote. The light turns off with the remote but keeps on flickering (with reduced intensity) endlessly. I am going nuts due to the flickering light in my bedroom. HELP PLEASE
