My dishwasher is filled with a powdery white residue. It is all over my dishes, and on the sides of my washer. I can not seem to get rid of it. Please tell me how to thoroughly clean the washer to remove this powder. We have switched soap brands and types from powder to gel. Still no good. We have a water softner that we have turned off in case it was the salt from that. Even if we hand wash the dishes, it still will not come off. Does it sound like the water or the washer?
