Cheryl what i did since i couldnt find a four wire switch was i hooked up the black wire to the black wire. hooked the blue to the purple and yellow wires (tied them in together) and the red wire to the orange wire. The fan works great but i lost my lowest speed. I dont know if this is the answer you were looking for but it works.
