Bathroom Vanity

Help !!! We are remodeling our bathroom and we're having problems with the vanity and sink fitting. The vanity will not fit flush to the wall ( my husband decided to round out the corners of the room ), his idea is to use wood molding to fix the vanity problem, which I think will work. Now the biggest problem, the sink has about a 1/2 inch gap on 1 side and on top back splash , what can we use to fill in the gaps, any suggestions ???
