We uncovered (removed room-sized carpet) the floor in the bathroom of our cottage to discover tile (over concrete slab);Unit is 35+ years old.
We swept and mopped the tile and are pleased that it is in great shape. We noticed that after a couple of days, the tile in certain areas seemed 'damp'? I suspect A)that's why it was carpeted or B) we may have a leak in the plumbing. As to 'B', my initial investigation doesn't tell me anything. The carpet was never damp in those areas?
