I have having walls put up in the basement for a rec room. I need to do the wiring. Although I am very comfortable working with the electrical, I am not familiar with workign with the metal studs, and the "expert" at Home Depot wasn't much help. 1. What type of boxes should I be using? The plastic ones that need to be screwed into the studs? The metal boxes were REALLY cost prohibitive.
2. When running the sheathed electrical cable through the studs, do I need to have some type of plastic "grommet" to avoid the metal from wearing thorugh the wiring housing?
