A question for BobF Posted by Jay on May 7th, 2004 07:54 AM
Since you are the resident popcorn man here I just had a question. My Father-in-law has a definite "popcorn" style ceiling in his house, but our "textured" ceiling in my house looks completely different.
It looks like someone spread plaster over the ceiling and then with a mop or something made small "drips" or whatever coming down off the ceiling. You can tell it was hand done, because where it meets the walls it is smooth like they ran their finger over it and you can also several mistakes they made.
Is this also considered "popcorn" ceiling and on top of that is it something we'll have to get checked for asbestos should we ever choose to remove it?
Your help is always appreciated ... thanks. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
