OK my 2 cents. What do you plan on powering with that receptacle? By code he kitchen requires 2- 20 amp circuits. Do you have them already? If you are upgrading your kitchen then you will need the 2 20 amp circuits. Your lighting circuit is most likely on a 15 amp circuit.
