i bought a how-to book at h-depot for about 12 dollars. it had lots of pictures and a few plans. you will find they go from fairly simple to needing framing skills. of course my wife wanted the latter. took me 4 weeks to build. now i know what a birds-mouth cut is. oh yea, i now know a framing square is not just for drawing straight lines!
