mom n pop vs. online and large retailers Posted by PC on May 11th, 2004 04:37 PM In reply to large vs small hardware by erik peterson on May 11th, 2004 04:16 PM [Go to top of thread]
This is America, and if the big retailers and online take too much business and force the more personal stores out of business, then so be it. Your never gonna convine people to go another way unless they WANT to.
I too support my local economy as much as I can afford, I am not ignorant to the fact it helps.
but business is business, and it happens. there sometimes are things the smaller store's can do to compete, and maybe someday these big retailers will shoot themselves in the foot.
What I hate big time, is someone complaining that their states unemployment rate is super low, and their economy stinks, and they are completely ignorant by purchasing a majority of their budget on companies that support other States.
Business will never completely ruin economies, and people will learn to adapt.
Just don't complain, and then become part of the problem.... Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
