I would like to lower the radon level in my basement (currently at 9) myself and inexpensivly as possible.
My idea is to create a sealed box over top of my sump pit and then mount an exhust fan to the box over the pit and run exhaust duct from the fan up and out at the base of the home (like a dryer
vent). If it helps, my basement also has a perimeter floor tile that terminates in the sump pit.
Will this work? Any other suggestions/materials to use?
