ceiling fan

If you checked and changed the battery it may be a defective receiver - The cause for a remote receiver to malfunction or appear to be defective could be a high wattage bulb. Check wattage of light bulbs. The maximum wattage is listed in the hand book. Be sure to check main circuit fuses, circuit breakers.. Make sure the power is turned off during this next inspection, check all wire connections; re-check any connections you may have made during installation, both wiring to the ceiling and any plug in modules. Pin connectors may not be making good contact. Release lock-pin and check pins at end of down-rod & inside coupler and pin connector under cover. Hope this helps!!!
