we are about to put in an offer on a 1926 historical landmark house in miami springs. i am a little concerned as we have retrieved some of the records of the house from city hall and the roof has been re-roofed several times and replaced with asbestos. i am aware of the health risks involved with asbestos and was wondering if i should use this as ammunition to negotiate the price since i may have to tear off the entire roof and replace it with a new roof. would the asbestos seep into the walls of the house as well?
