I have been trying to remove my bath drain and replace my tub. I have a no access to the bottom side of the tub. All my reading tells me the drain screws into the pipe from the finished side of the tub. I have tried everything I know of to get it to budge and can't move it. A friend recommended the application of heat to loosen up the plumbers putty. Any suggestions?
