have the building inspected by a professional building inspector prior to purchase. then you will know what structural, electrical, and plumbing problems that are found, and need to be addressed. also the type of shop you intend to open will determine what has to be done to both the interior and exterior of the building. If you are opening a boutique, the ice cream cone motif would not be appropriate
