Hello, folks.
I have noticed the wooden frame around my basement door is rotting away at the base. The wood feels spongy. The door was added after I bought the place, and the frame may not be treated lumber, not sure. Any chance this is "simply" wood rot -- or should I suspect worse, like termites?
