Plaster Ceiling - Repair

Posted by Mike G. on May 18th, 2004 04:22 AM

During a "sistering" project on my second floor I had 3 holes punched into my plaster ceiling.
"Really Sad Day when that happened"

Anyway I've tried to search throught forums but haven't found a good solution. The holes are 3 to 4 feet long and about a foot and a half wide.

Replastering sounds hard (I've never done it)
Covering it up seems like the wrong thing to do
Ripping it all out is just a pain

What do I do?

The old plaster that's in is your basic wood lath and it's thin about a 1/4 inch.
