I hope to have a decorative range hood made of wood, to match my refaced cabinets. I am replacing a double range/oven with a single range/oven, so I will need a ventilation system placed within the decorative wood hood. The self-venting vent needs to be no wider than 28 1/2" to leave room on the sides for 3/4' wood. Is there such an animal out there, or do I need to go to a sheet metal shop and have a budget hood remade to my specifications?? (I do want to keep the cost down.)
