I also have sulfer in my water. Not only in the hot water, but the cold too. My water comes from a well. It is because when they dug my well, they drilled through a huge rock. The stronger the smell means the bigger the rock (I believe). The best kind of filter to use is a charcoal filter. You can usaully find them at any place such as Lowe's. Hope that I could help.
