I am looking to purchase a house and saw one that I believe has polybutyl pipes. This is a two storey house with a basement and four and one-half bathrooms and four bedrooms. The house is fourteen years old and is about 3,000 square feet (including the basement). From what I am hearing is that the pipes need to be replaced. My concern is what would it cost. Could you give an idea of the approximate value to do replacement?
