repair resin type counter top (bathroom) Posted by Sandra Ball on April 8th, 2000 10:03 AM
Nail polish remover(soaked paper towel) was left on counter top and caused surface to blister and flake. When dried it could be rubbed off. A sandy residue was left with a pitted surface. The area is on top of the vanity 8" x4" patch right beside the sink well. It's a moulded sink and counter top one piece. This is a rental and we would rather not replace the whole thing. It's about 25 years old.
Is there a way of patching it ourselves without it losing it aesthetic look for the owners????? Or what could we expect to pay a repair man to do it? We watch your show all the time and wish you were here! HELP! Looking for a miracle, Regards. Sandra Ball
