I have a whirlpool dryer and when I push the button in to start it up and than release the button, the dryer stops. If I hold the push to start button in and hold it in, the dryer works fine until I release the button again. This button in not suppose to be held in, it just gets the dryer going and then when released, it keeps going through it's cycle. What could be the problem as to why it stops.
