I agree that they should deliver a suitable product but reading about the various quality of 'city' water, we see that isn't the case in many instances. Look into the current lead and copper tubing pinhole leak problems in DC, MD and Boston and watch the outcome for a real education as to how the water companies and the regulators are doing things.
