Our water smells like an egg salad sandwhich, doesn't really taste bad, it's the smell when you lift the glass to your mouth. It also builds up green algae in the fish bowl and last summer, when we fed well water to out new pond through a line that comes direct from the well, we had a SERIOUS algae problem in the pond. Since we no longer run well water into the pond, we have no algae. How does one treat algae in a well? And, how is drinking this stuff affecting my health?
