I bought a saf-t-brace to install between the floor joists for a ceiling fan installation however, when I broke out the old electrical box, I noticed that the floor joist was right nest to the hole in the ceiling. I need a suggestion on what to use for a brace that will attach to the joist and will be sturdy enough to support a ceiling fan.
