the book says to use black tar paper then wire mesh, then starterlayer over mesh. when i watch the pro's they don't use black tar paper or starter layer. they put wire mesh over plywood no tart paper and no starter mayer over wire. they say the stone will grab to wire good enough without black paper and starter layer of cement.whats up is this a bad short cut to save time.
