For those of you who prefer setting a metal bracket into the cement instead of putting the actual fence post in the cement, what bracket do you suggest and how wide does the hole for the cement need to be.
If I was putting the post in the cement, I would make the hole 12" wide. But, since the post is not going in the hole, how wide does it need to be now?
Any info on the metal bracket process would be appreciated. It just seems easier to do and easier to replace any posts later on if needed.
