The easiest way to inspect the floor under the tub is to access it from the wall opposite the plumbing (wet wall). There may be an access panel, or at least it will only involve a fairly small drywall repair. Opening the wall, perhaps from the next room, will allow you to inspect the floor condition without removing the tub, which is attached at the drain and at the wall flange. Of course if you have a basement or crawlspace, inspect from underneath. We will leave the fix-it methods until after you report the result of your inspection.
If the floor is OK, you might consider replacing the drywall that was water damaged with a cement board. It is suitable for finishing with tile or the enclosure surface, and will hold up to moisture exposure better than a drywall product. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
