Hi, Cindy. My daughter has had this done in several rooms of her 150 year old farm house and it works great. The hardest part is finding the joists to run the screws into. You want to run screws in every 8" around the outer edges of the drywall sheets and every 12" in the field. It takes a couple of people to wrestle the drywall sheets around and a couple of screw guns makes the job go much faster. If you build a Tee shape out of 2x4's with the long leg slightly longer than the room height, you can hold one end of the sheet while you are working on the other end. Be sure that you buy screws that are long enough and don't run the screw heads through the paper covering of the drywall. Just dimple the drywall surface with the screw heads. Then you can tape and mud the drywall like you would on a wall.
