We worked in small areas ... definetly well venilated with mineral spirits . Read the precutions on the can . Took a bit of a chance doing it but it worked . Does remove some of the exisiting finish . But we were refinishing anyway. Also there are adhesive removers sold for this purpose. They work okay.
