I presume that is what you are talking about since I have never seen snap-together wood flooring. I highly recommend the glued type in a wet room; a wet room is any room where you have water, like a kitchen, bath, laundry. You may "get by" with the snap together type, but you are risking fate IMHO. I installed premium glued laminate in those rooms in our place, plus family room and hall. We are very pleased with it. I sealed around the edges in the wet rooms with a 50-year latex caulk.
