Old French Windows - Can I 'frost' the window panes?

Posted by AndreaS on May 29th, 2004 12:41 PM

Upstairs, all the windows are these old french windows that open to the inside. I absolutely love them. However, trying to figure out what kind of window treatments to use on them is tough. It would have to be some sort of tension rod and then that would take away from the look...

I was thinking there are products out there that I could use to 'frost' the panes so that they aren't so transparent and leave them at that.

Anyone here ever hear of this? If so any advice on products and usage?
