I don't want to sound like a smart alick, but a "natural" solution would be to take rock salt and work it into the problem areas. Don't know if that would be best for the driveway, however. I noticed that a more permanent easy way of keeping anything from growing is to carefully pour motor oil (clean oil, to prevent spotting) in the growth areas. Nothing will grow, I know because my spills have kept anything from growing for years! Either one of these "natural" solutions may not be ideal, but oil does comes out of the ground and so does salt.
