I'm not aware of a filter in the Neptune, but the pump is located in the bottom, access by removing back panel (with machine unplugged). These sometimes collect lint around the impeller. You can get the pump apart without removing the hoses by depressing a tab on the face of the pump and rotating the motor half towards the front of the washer. Two other questions.... Does it spin ? Does the door lock light come on when in operation ?
