i am in the process of replacing the insulation in my stove. it was stored in a shed for 2 years and when i opened the casing on either side you could see the droppings. i have been instructed by my local appliance store to tear out the insulation and replace it with a R12 fiberglass insulation. also, make sure that it is cleaned completly with a disinfectant before replacing the insulation. after you have put the stove back toether again make sure that you heat the oven to 500 for 2 to 3 hours to burn off any residue in the insulation. its a messy and dirty job but someone has to do it.... did i mention ITCHY??? ^_^
