I and the above problem, but probably two years ago I got a survey from Maytag that I surmized was prompted by this kind of complaint. I filled out the survey, sent it back, got a letter asking me to call and they replaced the gaskets free (labor free too).
I told my sister, she called Maytag and she got the same free placement.
