There "no magic" in a small dehumidifier. The magic is maintaining less than 50%RH in the space. When initially drying after wetting, use several box fans to speed up evaporation of water. Most small dehumidifiers are too small and inefficient. You need 1 pint of dehumidification per 25 sqft. of space. Check EPA's web site for capacity and efficiency.
