I have to tell everyone - even the makers of paint that #1 - no one is of any help at all! Everyone has their own opinion for exterior paint
Oil vs Latex etc. If you do some research all say that the better paint has more solids and pigments. Well, do you think any of the companies websites provide you with any of that information? Don't think so!! Consumer guide says California paint - only sold in the EAST - hah! I live in the Berkshires and it is no where to be found - Gotta love it. I'm tossing a coin to choose the paint, that's how bad it is. If someone out there has some spare time call (because that info is not provided on their websites) all of the makers and ask them what the percentage of solids and pigments are in each gallon of paint. The higher percentage of pigments/solids the better the paint is supposed to be. GOOD LUCK!
