These brushes can be found at home depot in a double brush or single brush. Basically, you water down mud to an oatmeal consistency and roll the mud using a 1/4" or 3/8" nap roller. (you can use the hopper also to spray on mud). Then dip the brush in mud and apply smooth swirling motion strokes. Thats it. With a little practice its easy.
