Playing with the idea of putting an offer in for a house w/ a pool in the backyard, which of'course needs to be filled in. There is no need to stress the importance of cost savings here. After reading your little situation... I'm thinking of lowering the offer by a couple of thousands. Plus, it needs a new roof. Thanks for sharing your experience!
