I recommend you consider the stone sealer products from www.roval.com. I have used these on stone surfaces with excellent results. The sealers should not be reactive (acrylic polymers), and will provide the strippable sheen and protection you are looking for. The company owner glady responds to email requests for recommendations. Use Sealer 1044 or Saber Seal from this page:
