toilet leaking from bottom

I had my bathroom remodeled a few months ago. We moved the toilet from one location in the bathroom to another wall. I had a plumber do all of the plumbing, moving pipes, new toilet flange, etc. My friend helped me install the toileet. After a few weeks, the toilet started slowly leaking from the bottom between the floor and the base. We pulled the toilet and put in a new wax ring, it stopped for a while, but behold...it's been about a month later and it is leaking again. The funny thing is, when I use it, it does not leak, but when any one who weighs much more than me uses it, it starts to leak. I know...very funny! Could it be the toilet is defective or the flange was improperly installed? Or maybe it's just the person trying to install the toilet?!
