We uncovered wood floors in a house built in the 1920's. Some is in good condition; other parts are discolored from area rugs. Also, there are two small areas that are filled in with plywood. How do we restore the wood and how do we replace the small areas that are covered in plywood? We have access to more of the same wood from upstairs rooms.
