Concrete to repair slab is feeling hot

Posted by mdugan on June 10th, 2004 02:09 AM

We had a slab leak repaired recently. It had to be jack-hammered out and the pipe fixed. The plumber told us we could repair ourselves by pouring some sand and then concrete. We did that today but the concrete is feeling hotter than the rest of the floor. Is this normal for curing or is this another leak? There is no sign of water and the pipes seem to be flowing fine.
