I've found that I've had to hold down the flush lever for 2 seconds in order for the toilet to flush properly lately. A couple years ago, I could just push down the lever quickly and it would be fine.
This is not one of those water saver toilets. It is an American Standard about 8-9 years old.
Any ideas?
I did notice some blue/green spots on the carpet behind the toilet this morning. not sure what that means either.
